Massage for Beginners, Lymphoedema Management, and Anatomy for Therapists. For more info please Click Here. Manual therapy, or massage, as it is sometimes called, has often been distorted by the introduction of strange myths and practices; at The Inside Out, we use a term Massage Science to distance ourselves from such practices – hence our publications have a scientific approach. For more info please Click Here. The Inside Out now has an online WebLog. If you would like to subscribe please visit the Blog and read all the latest info from The Inside out.

Welcome to The Inside Out...

This website is intended for those who are interested in muscular and skeletal anatomy – not at a surgical level, but at a level that will satisfy:

Those who treat musculo-skeletal injuries, the manual therapists, the massage therapists, and other professionals who frequently rely on tactile feedback, and those who perhaps, occasionally, experience such injuries and discomforts, and would like to understand the cause and depth of the pain.

The Inside Out is an attempt to bring the inner workings of the body, especially the joints, to the outside, for a better understanding; those trained in anatomy usually rely, to a large extent, on text-book illustrations, and sometimes cadavers in anatomy laboratories. The discussions offered here provide a supplementary view – not an alternate or opposing view, of joint function and malfunction.
